A painting for the Ekka......



Table..........Sold
 

This is one of two paintings that I have been working on for a while.  They are both larger than I usually do.  I expect to enter them into a painting competition later in the year at the Brisbane Royal National Show.....alias The Ekka.  The other painting is also of a table that is Asian, probably Chinese, design.  It is proving quite a challenge.  Will post it if/when I finish it.

    Hopefully only certified original Ellen Paxton works on show at the Ekka this year :)

    It really stood out on the walls of all those paintings - which is why I copied down your name and googled you!

      I live on an island in Moreton Bay. I have shared exhibitions with a couple of fellow artists, although I am not planning any similar exhibition at present. I do submit works to local shows and intend to put work into the Yurara Art Society's Spring Exhibition which will be held in their gallery in Thornlands in September. Thank you for your interest.
